Dr. LaTheresa Jefferson
My name is Dr. LaTheresa Lynette Jefferson. I was born on December 19, 1974 to Rose Marie James (deceased) and David Fowler. I am the middle child of 5; with 2 sisters and 2 brothers. My first marriage took place on April 22, 1994; with this marriage we had two beautiful children. I was separated in 2005 and divorced in 2007 the children remained with me. On January 10, 2008 David Jefferson and I was married and with this blessed union we became the Brady Bunch. David brought with him 3 wonderful children, whom we currently have, custody of his youngest child.
In fall of 1997 I attended Wayne County Community College and received an associated degree in general studies specializing in mental health in the summer of 1999. In 2009 I was accepted into Lawrence Technology University on December 21, 2011 I completed my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I completed my Master’s in Theology and Doctorate in Christian Counseling (Marriage and Family) at Midwest College of Theology.
Today, I am a mentor for more than 40 children. I started a nonprofit called JJP Community and Youth Services in 2003 which focus on youth between the ages 9-17 years old.
