After spending a decade in the education sector, specifically with underserved student populations, Aminah is a firm believer that all people deserve equal access to a quality education and to the necessary resources and tools that support self-determination. Aminah brings to JLUSA her commitment to social justice and equity for all communities.

As the Director of Development and in partnership with the Director of Development, Aminah is responsible for managing JLUSA’s fundraising and donor relations. She brings a decade of fundraising and development experience to JLUSA. Prior to joining JLUSA, she worked as a fundraising professional in the education sector, including private, Catholic, and charter schools. She has also served as a pro bono non-profit consultant, helping NYC nonprofits develop partnership and outreach strategies. Aminah earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Williams College, and a Master in Business Administration from Yale School of Management.
