Nearly 100 systems-impacted leaders joined JustLeadershipUSA at Grace and Peace Church in Chicago, Illinois, on February 2-3 for one of the largest Emerging Leaders™ trainings in the organization’s 10-year history. Through JLUSA’s IACET certification, 84 participants received a certificate for participation and 1.2 CEUs for completing both days of the training.
JLUSA will choose six attendees who have completed the training and filled out an application to receive a one-year grant to amplify their work as formerly incarcerated leaders in the Chicagoland area to advance comprehensive racial equity and economic mobility within their communities.
