The Shelby County Mayor’s Office of Innovation has released a documentary film about the importance of second chances featuring Keeda Haynes (Leading with Conviction™ 2022).

The short film explores the “challenges and triumphs for justice-involved individuals reentering their communities and how job opportunities play a crucial role in reducing recidivism through personal stories, compelling interviews, and excerpts from the Summit’s speakers and panel discussions,” and highlights Shelby County Government’s annual Southern Justice Summit and the County’s continued work on reentry initiatives.
