Then presidential candidate Kamala Harris was the first person to agree to participate, and she sat down with MSNBC host Ari Melber and founding JLUSA board member Rev. Vivian Nixon for a half-hour conversation about Harris’s previous record and policy proposals in regards to criminal justice in the U.S. She also responded to several questions from directly impacted leaders in the audience.
