Betty Washington

Betty Washington lives in the Montgomery, Alabama area. She has three children.  Betty is a graduate of Troy University and Trenholm State Technical College and holds a CPC and CPC-A in Medical Coding.  She IS the founder of Physicians ProMed Solutions , a medical billing company, and the founder of Starting Point, Inc., a nonprofit organization which caters to formerly incarcerated people, mostly women, in the State of Alabama. Betty realized there was a need to help women who were returning to their communities by providing updated and available resources.  She has implemented several additional programs within Starting Point, Inc., such as assisting individuals with resolving old traffic tickets and municipal fines.

Betty understands the need to help others press the restart button. She has had difficulties and challenging times in her life when she has lost her own identity and direction, leaving her with a great deal of shame and guilt. She has dedicated her life to helping others have a better quality of life with a sense of dignity, self-respect and purpose.
