Celia Colón is a happily married mother of four wonderful children. She is living proof that it is never too late to start over and change how your story will end. Celia is a sought after Certified Speaker/Re-Entry & Youth Advocate. Through her speaking ministry, Giving Other’s Dreams (G.O.D.) she serves the women in Cook County Jail in Chicago. She is also a speaker for the Safe Neighborhood Project of the US Department of Justice.
Celia has worked as a volunteer in various youth centers which have honored her with speaking engagements. She is a board member of two non-profit organizations and is the author of a forthcoming book, “MAP: Making Another Path.” “I am a student of the world and a teacher of love and hope,” Celia says. “I am interested in what I can do for others to help us all move forward!”
