Christopher has over 25 years of experience with the criminal justice system. He knows what it is like to live on the inside and he has extensive professional knowledge advocating for substance use disorder/mental health issues, criminal justice reform and reentry needs. Reentry is community reintegration from any adverse situation.
As a respected member of his community, Christopher is currently affiliated with Wisconsin Council on Mental Health – Criminal Justice Committee, Brown County Criminal Justice Coordinating Board, Brown County Alcohol and Drug Coalition for Change and the Brown County Mental Health Task Force. He is also a CCAR- Certified Recovery Coach/Trainer, Certified Peer Specialist, Reentry Specialist and a Nurturing Parenting Program Facilitator. Through trainings and speaking engagements, Christopher also educates community members, law enforcement, political leaders and other professionals about substance use disorder, mental health, reentry needs and the realities of incarceration.
