Frederic (Torey) Green is a native of Savannah, Georgia, and is a Clinical Social Worker. He currently works as a Coordinator for the Pathway Home 2 Training Initiative through Savannah Technical College. The initiative assists individuals currently incarcerated with obtaining industry-level certifications in logistics, manufacturing, and welding, while providing a social safety net post-incarceration.
Frederic is the owner of Capability Solutions Commercial Cleaning Company, and founder of Filling The Gaps Outreach, Inc., whose mission is to provide outreach that will support, educate, and advocate for individuals and families through programs, opportunities, and personal development. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in religion with a minor in psychology from St. Leo’s University, and a Master of Social Work from Savannah State University. He is also a 2014 graduate of the CARES 11 Academy through the Georgia Council on Substance Abuse as a Certified Addictions Recovery and Empowerment Specialist, a 2007 Graduate of Step Up Savannah’s Construction Apprenticeship Program (CAPS), and 2017 graduate of the National Leadership Academy). He is also former chair of the Housing Committee and co-chair of the Policy Committee for Advocates for Restorative Community Savannah (ARCS), Mayor Van Johnson’s Reentry Task force.
Frederic is a husband and the father of three beautiful daughters and a son, as well as grandfather of five. He is committed to filling gaps in society, repairing breaches, and restoring lives through serving and engaging his community.
