Fortunata Cuomo graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History, where she developed a strong foundation in understanding societal dynamics and historical contexts. During her time in college, she gained invaluable experience through internships at the United Nations Office for Partnerships and UNICEF USA, which sparked her passion for advocacy and social justice. These opportunities allowed her to explore the importance of supporting vulnerable communities on a global scale.
Her commitment to human rights and justice has led her to work with various nonprofits dedicated to creating positive societal change. Currently, Fortunata serves as a Development Coordinator at JustLeadershipUSA, where she focuses on enhancing the organization’s fundraising efforts to empower individuals affected by the justice system. In her role, Fortunata combines her knowledge and passion to help drive initiatives that support marginalized voices and promote equity.
