Fortunata Cuomo is the Development Coordinator at JustLeadershipUSA (JLUSA), where she leads fundraising efforts, strengthens donor relationships, and secures financial support through database management, grant writing, research, and strategic partnerships. Her work is crucial to advancing JLUSA’s mission of empowering individuals impacted by the justice system and promoting social equity.
Fortunata graduated with a Bachelor’s in History from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2020, where she built a strong foundation in societal dynamics and historical contexts. She has interned with the United Nations Office for Partnerships and UNICEF USA, where she developed a passion for advocacy and social justice. These experiences inspired her to work with a variety of nonprofits focused on creating positive societal change.
