Robyn Hasan Simpson (Leading with Conviction™ 2022) spoke September 19 at the Atlantic Festival 2024 held at The Wharf in Washington, D.C., in a session focused on “deteriorating prisons and jail facilities, the restoration of detainee rights, and how communities are rethinking the crucial role they could play in the rehabilitation of America’s incarcerated population.”
The panel was moderated by The Atlantic Senior Editor Ronald Brownstein and also featured Nneka Jones Tapia from Chicago Beyond and Lauren-Brooke Eisen from The Brennan Center for Justice. The panel discussion included a Q&A time at the end.
