#buildCOMMUNITIES launch and #FREEbreakfast

We’re very excited to convene our first #CLOSErikers event of the year on January 21st. We are hosting a press conference & free breakfast on Monday January 21 (MLK Jr. Day) at the Bronx River Community Center. We are launching our #buildCOMMUNITIES platform and unveiling our list of demands on community reinvestment outside of the criminal justice system.

Please make a plan to join us, and bring your members, participants, and neighbors! To give us a sense of how many to expect, please RSVP to sarita@jlusa.org and let us know if you’re coming and if you’re bringing anyone. We also need volunteers for this event – we have spots open help with cooking and serving the food.
