As the National Director of Operations at The Bail Project, Robert Brown leads the development and implementation of program innovation, process optimization, and operational strategy for the organization’s direct services and bail out operations. He initially joined The Bail Project in 2021 as the Operations Manager for several sites in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan.

Before joining The Bail Project, Robert was an Operations Manager at True Brands where he implemented a work-skills development program for justice-involved employees that included leadership training and industry-recognized certifications. He is a NCCER-certified vocational instructor with a continued education certificate in trauma-informed care. He has been personally impacted by the criminal justice system.
