JLUSA’s Leadership Training Receives Coveted IACET Certification

May 18, 2023
PRESS RELEASE — FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

After months of diligent and hard work, JustLeadershipUSA (JLUSA) received confirmation this week that it has been approved as an International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) Accredited Provider. JLUSA’s flagship leadership training program Leading with Conviction™ is the first accredited training program for the organization, and, beginning with the 2024 Leading with Conviction™ cohort, leaders will have the opportunity to earn CEUs to be used towards professional development requirements. JLUSA will be able to offer IACET CEUs for its learning events that comply with the ANSI/IACET Continuing Education and Training Standard.

IACET is recognized internationally as a standard development organization and accrediting body that promotes quality of continuing education and training. IACET Accredited Providers are an elite group of educators dedicated to quality in continuing education and training. Consumers trust the IACET Continuing Education Unit (CEU) because they know that the Accredited Providers’ processes must follow the ANSI/IACET Standard for Continuing Education and Training and have been thoroughly assessed by a third party.

JLUSA President and CEO DeAnna Hoskins said, “By receiving the IACET certification stamp of approval, it shows that JustLeadershipUSA’s leadership development program is the highest quality and meets the strictest standards in education. I’m so deeply proud of the entire JLUSA team for accomplishing this ambitious goal! All of our current and future alumni can have confidence knowing that Leading with Conviction™ is the best training in the country for formerly incarcerated leaders.”
